Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering, the brain child of Prof Dr.V.P.Ramamurthi, the former Professor of
Anna University is located near West Tambaram and has been offering 6UG and 4PG courses in
Engineering for the past 16 years.
A unique feature of DCE is, its commitment to the overall development of all its students, and so
today we proudly celebrate the Placement Day at Chinmaye Heritage Centre, Chetpet. The Most
befitting Personality Madam Mrs.Hema Gopal, Former Vice President TCS, is the Chief Guest for this
function. 443 offers will be rolled out to 334 students here. The College is pleased to inform that the
placement cell has organized for 86 campus recruitment drives and 28 off campus drives resulting in
97% of students being placed in 84 companies. Some of the major recruiters include IBM, ZOHO,
Virtusa-Polaris, NTTData, Axles India HTC etc. Around 120 students have more than 1 offer and 78 of the
students have done internships in the “Earn While You learn” model.
The above achievements were made possible because of the intensive training programmes
being offered in communication skills, aptitude and technical skills.
